Former New Jersey Governor, Jim McGreevey came out of the closet 2 years ago. Now he's touring with a new book detailing his 'secret life.' What does this have to do with our favourite goalie, Kevin Weekes?
Well, most importantly its the parallels in life styles. While Weekes is never mentioned in the book by name, they both apparently used some of the same tactics/hangouts to hook up with fellow fudge packers. Most notably the Jersey Turnpike rest stop parking lots.
From McGreevey's book, and from sources close to Weekes, both would 'cruise the scene,' and often hook up with one, sometimes multiple fruits at one of the northern Jersey turnpike rest stops.
Weekes' favourite was the Vince Lombardi stop, though he also was spotted on several occasions at the Thomas Edison stop as well.
It would be unlikely that the 2 never crossed paths. If we are given additional information we will be sure to send it on to our loyal readers.
In other news Kevin Weekes' contract status and life style has apparently soured most GM's to take him on, despite what Glen Sather would like. It is also possible the Rangers may send the gay goalie to Hartford to start the season, hoping that someone would claim him on his demotion wavers.

Fudge packers? What kind of terminology is THAT? Kevin Weekes was NOT hanging out at Turnpike rest stops - that's ludicrous! Who was it that spotted Weekes at these locations you allude to? I'm sure the "sources" MUST remain anonymous, right? And now, Sather wants to get rid of him because he supposedly prefers men to women? Even if this were true regarding Kevin's lifestyle, GMs do not trade gay players because they're gay. Mark Messier was NOT traded/let go due to his gayness (Mess was the greatest, but he IS gay - sorry folks). The list goes on; Barry Beck, Peter Zezel, Mark Recchi, etc. Sexual preference had nothing to do with the fact that they were on several teams. It has to do with GM needs, NOT locker room ogling. Stop feeding this nonsense!

This actually makes sense to me... Kevin has been on the roster of virtually every NHL team since he entered the league some years ago... The fact that he is damaging to dressing room morale is a valid argument... I hope, for Kevin's sake, that he won't be implicated in this sorted story... However, if guilty, he must take responsibility for his actions... Weekes should be most concerned with stopping the puck and staying put in one city for more than 20 minutes...

We stand by our 'sources' 1940. We also have hard the rumblings of Messier, but since he is no longer an active NHL player haven't paid too much attention to his 'life style'.
Rest assured if there are any new allegations that we can confirm with our many independent sources, we will relay them here.
